Robinvale Secondary College is located in a garden setting of 8 hectares. The College has excellent facilities, including extensive playing fields, outdoor multi-purpose courts, an Indoor Sports Centre, Technology Centre, Performing Arts Area, and modern Library. The College has excellent computer/ satellite facilities with Internet access throughout the School.

Our current enrolment is 280 students. The student population is made up of a unique cultural mix of Anglo Celt, Italian, Greek, Polynesian, Aboriginal and Asians. The College has long been recognised as having a significant number of students from an area with a low socio-economic index.

The College's curriculum covers all Key Learning Areas (7 - 10) as well as offering a wide variety of VCE units at Years 11 and 12 taught by specialist staff. Students in Years 7-9 follow core units and Years 10-12 students work in a vertical structure which allows for pathways through to VCE. The College's involvement in the Mallee College Cluster (www.malleecluster.vic.edu.au) enables us to offer and receive video-conferencing classes at VCE level thus increasing options for our students. Where we are unable to offer classes due to insufficient numbers, students are offered the option of Distance Education subjects with support from staff at the College.

2001 saw the completion of our $1.8million Master Plan, which included the relocation and upgrading of the Library, Science, Home Economics, Art/Craft and Administration areas, providing our students and staff with top class facilities.

Our school has a proud sporting history, with many of our students representing the State in their chosen field (mainly touch football, rowing and cricket). As well as our own sports days (swimming, athletic and cross-country), there are many opportunities throughout the year for our students to compete at interschool carnivals. All students have the chance to represent the school in a wide variety of sports, ranging from rugby, netball, football, rowing, hockey, tennis, and cricket, just to mention a few.

Students also have the opportunity to become involved in our Instrumental Music Program.

Our students can also choose to take part in public speaking competitions, namely the Lions Club, Youth of the Year Quest.
